About us

The WAEMU Regional Mortgage Refinancing Company ("CRRH-UEMOA") was set up in July 2010 as a banking financial institution, with a mandate is to mobilize long-term financing on the financial markets or from development partners to refinance housing loans granted by commercial banks and DFS to their customers.

The refinancing provided by CRRH-UEMOA is intended to stimulate demand for home loans in the WAEMU banking system. The financing mechanism set up by the CRRH-UEMOA helps to ease the terms of housing loans, both in terms of repayment period and interest rate, and thus enables many middle-income or even low-income households to acquire a home. CRRH-UEMOA also issues bonds on a regular basis to stimulate the WAEMU financial market, thereby increasing the range of securities available to investors.

CRRH - UEMOA was licensed by the WAEMU Banking Commission in november 2011.
